We have pleasure in sending you information on the first business-to-business exhibition on Exhibitions for Africa’s calendar : Hostex 2007 - South Africa’s International Hospitality and Catering Exhibition. Hostex will be taking place between 18 to 21 March at the Sandton Convention Centre in Sandton, Johannesburg. 


The African tourism and hospitality industries are booming and the international market continues to grow – especially with the anticipation of an increase in foreign visitors to the continent for the Soccer World Cup 2010. The hospitality industry knows that it needs to prepare itself so that it can be ready and waiting, and Hostex 2007 aims to enable industry members to do just this.


Catering to the hospitality industry’s marketing needs, March 2007 marks the 21st birthday of Hostex – the largest and longest running exhibition of its kind in Africa.

Features of Hostex 2007 will include:

* Guestex: a section aimed at suppliers to the smaller guesthouse and Bed & Breakfast industries
* Home Grown Village: where, with the close involvement of the South African Chef’s Association, both local and international chefs will be demonstrating their culinary skills
